Starting at the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri’s largest lake, IFWTWA members will enjoy gourmet cuisine and down-home Ozarks cooking … visit a century-old “castle” high atop a bluff … dine and sip alfresco at a hillside winery … and relax on a sunset dinner cruise aboard a luxury motor yacht.

Next stop is Columbia, where urban excitement and college-town atmosphere create a destination that’s “fun, funky and surprisingly sophisticated.” The city showcases an eclectic mix of memorable restaurants, coffee houses, shops, music venues, art galleries and more for visitors.
Our hosts will provide up to a $200.00 travel allowance toward airline expenses. Ground transportation will be provided from Kansas City International Airport and Lambert International Airport in St. Louis or Columbia Regional Airport. Your inbound flight needs to arrive no later than 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21st in order to arrive in Central Missouri for a 6:00 p.m. dinner. FYI: Delta serves Columbia Regional Airport, which offers convenient connections through Memphis. Applications must be submitted to IFWTWA by March 5. Journalists will be qualified by the hosts prior to acceptance. This trip is open to 8 – 10 members.
