In September, 2009, the IFWTWA was invited to tour the historic cities of Richmond and Charlottesville in beautiful Virginia.

In November, 2010, members of the IFWTWA were invited to visit the Gulf Shore region to see firsthand the Alabama coast and to explore the inherrent beauty of the region.

In May, 2010, 10 writers from IFWTWA were invited to partake of the rural charm of this San Diego County area, fast becoming known as a wine destination.
